Growing up in the heat of South Louisiana, I enjoyed being indoors creating pencil and pen and ink sketches. My love of art led me to study art and architecture at the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now the University of Louisiana). After graduation and a move to East Tennessee, I found myself gainfully employed as a computer programmer, about as far away from an artistic experience as you can get.
